Forbes Africa will commemorate the tenth anniversary of its yearly 30 Under 30 list in its April/May 2024 issue.

This demonstrates the talent pool on the African continent, home to the youngest people on the planet. The list showcases youthful, audacious, and fearless leaders reshaping Africa in a variety of fields, including technology, healthcare, sports, education, entertainment, and the arts.

Nigerian singer-songwriter, Adedamola Oyinlola Adefolahan (Fireboy DML), football player, Victor Osimhen of the Super Eagles, Josiah Akinloye, founder and CEO of Mainlogix Technology, founder of Veekee James, Ruth Erikan James, track and field athlete, Tobi Amusan, and founder and CEO of FXKudi, Abioye Oyetunji made it to the list.

The finalist pool was selected from over a thousand applications this year through a stringent screening process conducted by the editorial team headed by Chanel Retief, the curator of Under 30.

The panel of independent external judges included subject-matter experts like Mo Abudu, Kate Kallot, Chris Maurice, Tlaleng Mofokeng, Helena Ndume, Desiree Ellis, and former Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 alumni. With the assistance of the audit partner, SNG Grant Thornton, the evaluation procedure got underway in late 2023.

Managing editor of Forbes Africa, Renuka Methil stated, "We have unpacked the unmistakable potential and story of Africa's youth for a decade. This special issue of Forbes Africa's 10th 30 Under 30 list is jam-packed with drive and aspiration. These driven twentysomethings are rising through the ranks, conquering obstacles to become tomorrow's titans and billionaires and impacting the nations, businesses, and societies they work in. "
