Iyabo Ojo Gets Excited About Hugging Funke Akindele After Many Years Of Rift

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, for the first time in many years set aside her beef with her colleague Funke Akindele Bello as she publicly celebrates her latest achievement. 

Recall that Iyabo Ojo and Toyin Abraham have been at loggerhead with Funke Akindele after it was speculated that the mother of twins paid Instagram critics to trash Toyin’s movie 'Ghost and the Tout Too'. Since then, Iyabo Oyo has often thrown shade and publicly dragged Funke Akindele on social media. 

Funke Akindele-Bello got nine nominations for the 8th edition of the African Magic Viewers Choice award and went home with five awards. 

Taking to her Instagram page, Iyabo Ojo, in a post which seemed emotional, said she started her day well but almost didn’t make it to the award night. According to Iyabo Ojo, presenting an award to Funke Akindele and most especially hugging her made her day. 

Iyabo Ojo also took the opportunity to congratulate Funke Akindele on her awards. 

She wrote: "My day started well but damn!!! I almost didn’t make the #amvca8 …. Presenting an Award to Funke & most especially hugging her made my day. Congratulations on your wins mate."
