#IstandwithBusolaDakolo: What People Are Saying About Rape Allegation Against Pastor Fatoyinbo
A lot has been said of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA. It was in 2013 we first heard from Ese Walter, who shared how the pastor exploited her sexually.
After the allegation, the church released a statement, promising a robust reply. It’s six years later, and we still wait.
Singer Timi Dakolo, at the end of May 2019 (and 2018, too) dropped a cryptic post on his Instagram, referencing a pastor who has been using his position to sexually abuse women. Although the pastor was unnamed, the (2019) post made it a little clear that pastor was Pastor Biodun.
Now Busola Dakolo, photographer and Timi Dakolo’s wife, sat with Chude Jideonwo to share how the pastor allegedly raped her before she was even in the university, and the church was still in Ilorin. She was 17, in the choir.
He was the senior pastor. He was a father figure to her. And, one morning, he allegedly arrived at her home to rape her. And that was only the first time.
“You should be happy I’m the one that did this to you,” the pastor allegedly said.
“You should be happy a man of God disvirgined you.”

This my sister had been crying since yesterday oh. Coza Fc girl— Dr.Sly (@iamslysong) June 29, 2019
She has refused to tell me why she's crying maybe it's cause of the video from #istandwithBukolaDakolo or if she has any experience. I just pray not 😠but I don't know what else to say to make I talk to me
So because she said she was raped its true, with the shallow story behind it. I dont support rape, but false allegations are real. Think about it #istandwithBukolaDakolo— Dr... (@jpwncu) June 29, 2019
You're not alone #istandwithBukolaDakolo— Wavefro_ (@wavefro_) June 29, 2019

Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. This is what Free Speech is about. The loud majority must never bully the silent minority. And like I always say: a critic should always be ready to take criticism.— Comrade Deji Adeyanju (@adeyanjudeji) June 29, 2019

Pls, the phrase “TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED” doesn’t apply to only Pastors.— Your ancestor (@morewunmie) June 28, 2019
It applies to every believer..
Do believers who are not pastors serve punishments for their crime??
Yes they do!!!! So what’s stopping this COZA pastor from going to jail??? #iStandwithBukolaDakolo
I'm glad people are coming out to speak. Rape is a crime against humanity & should not be treated with glove hands #istandwithBukolaDakolo #COZA #rapeisevil pic.twitter.com/4ZdZp5YPBe— ~enchanted (@Cherrydoc_urch) June 29, 2019
