With Reekado Banks And Tiwa Savage Out Of Mavin Records, See Who Has To Sustain The Glory
On May 2, 2019, Don Jazzy announced Tiwa Savage’s departure from Mavin Records and her new deal with Universal Music Group (UMG).
Also, some months back, Reekado Banks had left Mavin Records. Unfortunately, these were two of the best singers at the music company.
We all remember how ‘Dorobucci’ made us fall in love with the Mavin family, but now, the fantasy is over, and everyone is moving on with their lives.
Moreover, this moving on is all for the best, and we’re definitely proud of them. However, the African prince, Korede Bello still remains in the record label with a new ‘family’ member, Rema.
Earlier on, fans and listeners doubted that Rema would make it in the industry, but when they listened to “Why”, they encouraged him and asserted that he already has the potential to even go global.
Mavin lovers and fans are hoping that Rema would help sustain the brand and make it flourish as always.
