Niniola Soars Higher, Lands International Deal With Kobalt Music Group

Nigerian singer and songwriter,  Niniola Apata, who rose to fame in 2013 after finishing third runner-up on the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa has joined London based independent rights management and publishing company, Kobalt Music.




 The deal will see her writing songs for international artists chiefly in the United States.

 “Niniola continues to soar as she adds yet another feather to her hat,” said a statement by her management.


 “Niniola recently just signed a publishing deal with one of the world’s topmost music publishers Kobalt Music Group, a deal that will also see her engaged as a songwriter.

 “Kobalt Music Group,  a company which currently handles 40% of the top 100 songs and albums in the U.S. and U.K, and also has a roster with the likes of 50 Cent, Ed Sheeran, Elvis Presley, Gwen Stefani, Calvin Harris, Lauryn Hill etc.”

The company, which houses other talents like;  Carly Rae Jepsen and Zayn Malik revealed this on their Instagram page.
