Alexis Sanchez Urged To Join Inter By Chile Team-Mate, Gary Medel
Gary Medel has told Alexis Sanchez that he should join Inter if he decided to leave Arsenal at the end of the season.
Sanchez’s future with the Gunners remains uncertain as he is yet to sign an extension on his current contract, which is due to expire next summer.
Last week, reports claimed that the 28-year-old, who was a £31.7 million signing from Barcelona, was on the verge of quitting the club following the 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Sanchez has been heavily linked with a move to Inter, with the Serie A club’s owners, Suning Group, keen to show their financial muscle in the summer window.
And the Arsenal star’s team-mate in the Chile national side believes a switch to Italy would be a positive one.
‘Alexis is a player we all know, he’s one of those strikers who all the top clubs are looking for,’ Medel said.
