Aston Villa And Swansea In Talks Over Two Players, Potential Swap Deal

Aston Villa and Swansea City are in talks over a potential swap deal between the clubs, with Sky Sports stating that left-back Neil Taylor and striker Jordan Ayew could change employers.

The Villans have been active in the transfer market this month, with five new senior players being added to Steve Bruce’s impressive squad.

It appears that the Midlands club are not finished yet however, with Taylor a reported target for the Championship side.

Swansea are fighting for their Premier League lives and new manager Paul Clement has already added Tom Carroll and Martin Olsson to his group this month – with the latter taking Taylor’s role in the team.

Ayew is out of favour at Villa but looked like a player capable of getting goals at the top level last season. With his brother Andre a fans favourite at the Liberty Stadium before defecting to West Ham United, the Ghana international could well be a shrewd acquisition for a Swansea side desperate for more firepower.
