Wolves Sack Walter Zenga After 87 Days

Wolves have ruthlessly sacked Walter Zenger after just 87 days at the helm. 


Zenga only took charge of the Midlands club in the summer, replacing Kenny Jackett, but has now been booted out of the exit door after only 14 Championship matches.

The decision comes after Saturday’s 1-0 reverse at home to Leeds, which was the club’s fourth defeat from their last five games, with Zelta's men picking up just one point during that rotten run.

Zenga backed his troops, who also reportedly gave their support to him, to recover from the Leeds loss, but Wolves’ Chinese owners have decided to pull the trigger just three months after appointing the Italian, who leaves the club 18th in the table, and four points above the relegation zone.

As a result, Wolves will be looking for their third manager in as many months.
