Chelsea Vs Liverpool: Antonio Conte Admits Reds Are The Last Team He Wants To Be Playing

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has admitted that Liverpool is the last side in the League he wants Chelsea to be playing at Stamford Bridge tonight.

The Chelsea manager is a worried man as he tries to lift Chelsea back to the top of the table for the first time in 16 months.

Liverpool came into the game having thrashed champions Leicester 4-1 last week and also beat Arsenal 4-3 at Emirates Stadium on the opening day.

Conte, who didn't lose in his last 31 home games as Juventus coach, said: "I consider Liverpool the worst team to play now.

"I think it will be a very tough game because at this moment Liverpool are in a very good shape and we must pay great attention.

"It is important that when you play at home in front of your own fans, not to lose and to always try and win, to always give your all. I hate to lose, but for one or two days, I suffer a lot after a defeat.

"And for this reason I try with my players and other people who work with me to find the right solution to avoid a defeat, because I suffer a lot after a defeat and I do not want to lose."

Midfielder, Oscar is also worried about the threat Jurgen Klopp's side pose and said that they must keep Liverpool's club record signing Saido Mane and fellow Brazil international, Philippe Coutinho quiet.

"I have done a lot of running in the games this season, have won my duels and am showing my strength. I hope this continues against Liverpool and it’s important we play in this way because they have players who can hurt us.

"They are very quick, especially Mane, who has already scored two goals, and of course I also know Coutinho well. He isn’t so quick when he runs, but with the ball at his feet he makes fast decisions and can move the ball quickly to cause damage.

"But I also know we can cause Liverpool problems, our attacking play has been good and in the last game against Swansea (2-2 draw) we had a lot of chances. We played very well," he added.
