'The Dark Tower' Teaser Image Unveiled

The 'Dark Tower' is already one of the most anticipated movies of 2017 and a brand new teaser image from the movie has been unveiled. 

 'The Dark Tower' is a big screen adaptation of the Stephen King novel of the same name and will see Nikolaj Arcel.

As well as being in the director's chair, Arcel has also teamed up with Akiva Goldsman, Anders Thomas Jensen, and Jeff Pinkner to adapt King's much-loved novel into a screenplay.

 

While we are still waiting for the first footage from the film, actor,  Tom Taylor has taken to Twitter to share this terrific new image.

Taylor is set to take on the role of Jake Chambers in the film, which will mark his big screen debut. The young actor is best known for his television work in Doctor Foster and Legends.

Arcel has assembled an impressive cast list as Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey will take on the central roles of Roland Deschain aka The Gunslinger and Man in Black.

Katheryn Winnick, Jackie Earle Haley, Claudia Kim, Abbey Lee, and Nicholas Hamilton complete the exciting line-up.

Taylor's character, Jake, helps Roland on his quest. And while he is a character that live on Earth, he also travels to 'Mid-World' and this new image shows the door between the two worlds.

Filming on 'The Dark Tower' has already been completed and is set to be one of the early must see movies of 2017.

The Dark Tower is released on February 17, 2017.
