New Nigeria: The Youth, Church and Society

A society is a group of people who live together in an organised way. These people often times, share similar behaviour, ideology, customs, norms, and traditions. 

 The society is not a perfect entity; it is full of idiosyncrasies, corruption, theft and all sort of atrocities. Permit me to say that the youths living in this society want things done in haste; they seek miracles where there are non probably because youthfulness is a period or a state of being young which could be the reason why they are carried away with the deeds or better put, bad deeds that occur in the society.

 The church on the other hand, is seen to be a place where problems are solved and miracles happen at a fast pace.

The youths had forgotten that they are their miracles which means that they can solve their problems without the help of a clergyman or a priest. What a world we live in! instead, they brought into the church, the ideology the society had inculcated in them, I guess this is so because they had gotten accustomed to the deeds, norms and traditions of the society.

The church had become a place where fake people showcase their talents. To expound better, "brothers" and "sisters" in church have this "holy look" while in church, but after church service, they go back to their normal ways of life.

They claim to be 'spiritual' or 'highly spiritual', but all the vices/idiosyncrasies that could be found in the society are also found in them.

I used to be of the opinion that the church is a kingdom different from the society with its norms, culture, traditions, laws et al. Here is the twist: Why has the church become subjected to another kingdom 'society'?, What has the church done so far to change the youths' perception about the church?.
