Justin Timberlake Sued By Cirque Du Soleil

Justin Timberlake is reportedly being sued by Cirque du Soleil over claims that he sampled without their permission.

According to TMZ, the Canadian theatre company has accused the Grammy winner of sampling their song 'Steel Dream' from productionQuidam on his own track 'Don't Hold the Wall'.

The lawsuit was filed on Thursday in New York, with Cirque du Soleil seeking $800,000 in copyright infringement damages.

However, this is not Timberlake's first brush with copyright law, having been sued by band Sly, Slick and Wicked over his song 'Suit & Tie', with it being claimed that it took elements from their own song 'Sho' Nuff'.
