President Zuma Arrives Nigeria

South Africa President, Jacob Zuma, arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja on Monday night for a two-day state visit.


President Zuma is presently meeting with Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday.

He was received by a Nigerian delegation led by former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.

President Zuma arrived aboard South Africa Air Force plane, which touched down at about 11:00 PM at the presidential wing of the airport.

Observers see his visit as an attempt to mend fences between the continent's largest economic powers.
