Hull City VS Arsenal: Losing Would Be A Disaster – Arsene Wenger

Arsenal’s Manager, Arsene Wenger, has said that if his club lose the game at City it would be a 'disaster' as Arsenal seek their third straight FA Cup win.

Wenger was speaking to the media on Monday before Arsenal's FA Cup tie at Hull City on Tuesday evening.

Many pundits and fans believe the competition had lost its lustre, but the Frenchman said that "If we were able to do it again, it would be absolutely fantastic.

There's no country where the national cup is bigger," Wenger told Arsenal's official website.

"I personally rate highly the FA Cup. I think it's a fantastic, prestigious competition. I believe it is treated like that because when I listen to people, should we lose a game in the FA Cup, it would be a disaster. You cannot say on one side it's undervalued, and on the other side if we lose, it's a disaster.''

The pressure is building on the Manager following another drop in points at Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend, which left the club seven points behind leaders Leicester in the Premier League.

Attentions turned to the fifth round replay tonight at the Tigers, and Wenger insisted that his focus right now is on progression through to the quarter-finals.
