Tjaronn Chery Doesn't Know Why He Fell Out Of Favour At Queens Park Rangers
The attacking midfielder was brought to Loftus Road from FC Groningen last summer, but he struggled to hold down a place in QPR’s starting line-up.
The 27-year-old has made 30 appearances for Rangers over the course of the season, but only 16 have come as a starter.
Chery did show his class in QPR’s most recent match against Birmingham City, as he inspired the London side to a 2-0 victory, after being selected from the off. And Chery admitted: "It’s a long time I don’t play, and I don’t know why, but I’ve got to do it next week as well."
Chery’s main problem this season has been with his consistency, and he has been a rotational player under three QPR managers.
There is little doubt about the quality that he possesses, though, and he is hoping to play a key part as the R’s aim to claim a play-off spot.
"It was a really important win. Now we have to look at space number six. It will be really hard, but if we play like we did then it’s possible,"he added.
