Explosion Hits Maiduguri

A female suicide bomber driving a three-wheeled vehicle detonated near the office Department of State Service (DSS) in Maiduguri, the capital city of Borno State on Saturday morning.

The explosion occurred around Bulumkutu area just in front of Shehu Elkanemi College.

The security sources said the blast went off a few metres from the office at about 7 a.m.

Although, Casualty figure is yet to be known but security forces have cordoned off the area.
